A Life-Changing Procedure for Women in Las Vegas

Breast reduction surgery — medically known as reduction mammoplasty — removes excess breast tissue, fat, and skin to reduce the size and reshape the contour of overly large breasts. The procedure also repositions the nipple and areola to a more natural, lifted position.

For many women in Las Vegas, oversized breasts are not simply an aesthetic concern — they create real, daily physical and emotional challenges. Chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain, skin rashes, restricted physical activity, and deep self-consciousness are among the most common complaints our patients share before surgery.

Breast reduction is consistently ranked among the highest patient-satisfaction procedures in plastic surgery. The results are immediate, dramatic, and long-lasting — restoring both physical comfort and personal confidence.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Breast Reduction?

The ideal candidate for breast reduction is a woman who is in good overall health, at or near a stable weight, and experiencing physical or emotional challenges related to the size of her breasts. You may be an excellent candidate if you identify with any of the following:

  • Chronic back, neck, or shoulder pain caused by breast weight
  • Skin rashes or irritation beneath the breasts
  • Shoulder indentations from bra straps
  • Difficulty exercising or participating in physical activities
  • Breasts that are disproportionate to your body frame
  • Self-consciousness or emotional distress about breast size
  • Nipples that fall below the breast crease
  • One breast significantly larger than the other

We recommend waiting until breast development is complete (typically by age 17–18) before considering surgery. A personal consultation is the best way to determine if breast reduction is right for you.

What to Expect: Your Breast Reduction Journey

01

Consultation

Your journey begins with a thorough one-on-one consultation. We review your medical history, discuss your goals, and develop a personalized surgical plan.

02

Anesthesia

Breast reduction is performed under general anesthesia by a board-certified anesthesiologist, ensuring your complete comfort throughout the 2–3 hour procedure.

03

Incision & Reshaping

Using a lollipop or anchor incision technique, excess breast tissue, fat, and skin are removed. The nipple and areola are repositioned for a natural, lifted appearance.

04

Recovery & Results

You will be discharged the same day. Most patients return to work within 2 weeks and enjoy their final results within 3–6 months.

Incision Techniques

Lollipop (Vertical)

An incision around the areola connected to a vertical incision down the breast. Ideal for moderate reductions with minimal scarring.

Anchor (Inverted-T)

Adds a horizontal incision along the breast crease. Recommended for larger reductions requiring significant tissue removal.

Liposuction Only

Reserved for select patients with good skin elasticity and primarily fatty breast tissue. Results in minimal scarring.

Comfortable recovery at home

What to Expect During Recovery

Breast reduction is an outpatient procedure, meaning you will return home the same day. Recovery is generally well-tolerated, and most patients are pleasantly surprised by how quickly they feel better.

Days 1–3

Rest at home with prescribed pain medication. Mild soreness and swelling are normal. A support bra is worn continuously.

Week 1–2

Most patients return to light, non-physical work. Swelling and bruising begin to subside. Follow-up appointments are scheduled.

Weeks 3–6

Low-impact activity resumes. The support bra continues to be worn. Significant improvements in comfort and appearance are visible.

3–6 Months

Final results emerge as swelling fully resolves and scars begin to fade. The full transformation is now visible.

Important: Maintaining a stable, healthy weight after surgery helps preserve your results long-term. Future pregnancies may affect the outcome.
